I saw this...Don't forget the Christmas factor. I saw this with my preschool kids all these past 22 years. This time of year is filled with high energy and anticipation. There are constant reminders of it...your own home decorations, school activity, the lights outside at night, the Elf on the Shelf going back every night to see Santa, all the stores decorated and lit up with constant seasonal music. It's enough to make me bonkers, what about a little kid? Zaxxon isn't able to articulate these feelings so they come out in his behavior as he tries to cope. I don't know what. both my kids have different bedtime neeeds and it's really hard to meet them. Sometimes those needs are tough love. I'm currently in the I hate bedtime routine, but it'd not a reflection of my parenting -- nor of yours. it just is that way. my pediatrician commented that it could be worse. that some kids take hours to get the bedtime down.D.M.
